About Me

My name is Alex Leiphart. I’m a writer, designer, and curator. I spend my time publishing this weblog, curating Things Designed Well, and designing websites and mobile interfaces. I’m currently available for hire.

Any un-related, yet interesting content I find around the web is reblogged over at Aluminum Pixels. It’s basically my ‘tumblelog’.

My philosophy for content I publish is the same across all of my weblogs and websites. I only publish content I feel is worthwhile, relevant, and of the highest quality. If you love reading my content as much as I do creating it, I would appreciate your support.

My Setup

Currently, I use an early-2011 model 11” MacBook Air (ultimate configuration). Previously, I used a 15” MacBook Pro and 20” Intel iMac.

My primary web browser is Safari 5 and Firefox 4 is used for web development. Other apps I use include Sparrow Mail, Twitter for Mac, Evernote, Photoshop CS5, Things, Reeder, and Coda.

All writing for this weblog is done in either TextMate or Byword. This site is coded in Coda, and powered by Tumblr.
